Here's how it works.

We give $1 cash per accepted book or $3 store credit per accepted book.

Store credit:

• Never expires
• Is not cash & cannot be exchanged for cash 
• Applies toward your entire purchase on any book item
• Can be used online, for in-person pick-up, local delivery, or at markets
• Cannot be used at stores we collaborate with
• Cannot be used in combination with an Avid Reader loyalty card

If you would like to use store credit on an order from the website, please select “Pay In-Person/Apply Store Credit” at checkout, and we will send you an updated total and credit balance.

We will take only your name and email address and use it only to contact you about orders- your information will never be sold.
